After months of touting Hillary Clinton as the “most qualified person to ever run for president,” you’d think that her name would obviously appear on the list of heroes for Saturday’s Women’s March on Washington. Well, you’d be wrong.
The Women’s March group released an official document Thursday outlining its “guiding vision and principles” as well as an official honorees list—these are women whose activism has “paved the way” for women seeking equality.
The document even begins with a specific reference to Clinton—a quote, “women’s rights are human rights,” attributed to the Democratic Presidential candidate—but never actually mentions Hillary Clinton by name.
