From The New Normal: Forever Faithful

Last week, I wrote about Psalm 78 and the theme of God’s faithfulness that emerges in that psalm. This week we’re looking at Psalm 89, another somewhat lengthy poem that takes a bit of a glance at Israel’s history. Though the author Ethan the Ezrahite doesn’t dig as deep into the history of God’s people as Asaph did in Psalm 78, he uses the story of God’s choice of David and Israel’s rebellion to highlight a similar theme – a LOT.
