When we think of rockstars, certain assumptions come to our minds. The concept of the rockstar brings with it the connotations of a hedonistic, self-centered lifestyle. There’s the destructive, indulgent, tragic types like Jimi Hendrix and Jim Morrison. There are the ones who leave broken hearts, illegitimate kids, and disease in their wake, like Mick Jagger and Rod Stewart. There are even the comical stories of rockers who “flip out” when their green rooms aren’t just so – theVan Halen “brown M&M” story comes to mind.
